The Junior Tamburitzans of Duquesne are very excited to be performing at the first picnic of the season hosted by our favorite North Side tambura group, Javor PGH! Come and join us for a day full of music, food and family fun! Don’t forget to preorder your lamb! We hope to see you there!
Gate opens at 11 am. There will be a full kitchen and bar, featuring ćevapi and lamb provided by Mike Mezick. We will be taking pre-orders ONLY for lamb by the pound until May 29. To order, call Maurine at 412-580-3708; prepay orders only via cash, Venmo, or check.
For your entertainment, performances will feature Sacred Heart Adult Tamburitza Orchestra along with the Junior Tamburtizans of Duquesne, and, of course, Javor PGH.
Following the performances you can finish out the day with kolos and music by TS Ponoć of Pittsburgh PA.
